4 months down, 5 to go!

16 week old fetus

Dear My baby Minnow,

You are now 16 weeks old, and you can officially hear my voice now! How cool is that? I've been singing to you lots and telling you jokes. I put daddy's headphones on my belly so you could hear some of my favourite music last night; it was the first time I felt you move inside me :) It felt like little butterflies doing back flips ever so slightly. I can't wait til you're a bit bigger and I will be able to feel you kicking and hiccuping. I know your daddy is excited to feel you move and we're both excited for our first ultrasound coming up, especially excited to find out if you're a little girl minnow or a boy minnow. I think you're a girl, and your daddy thinks your a boy. Whatever you are we can't wait to meet you! I already love you with all my heart, and now that the worst of the morning sickness has passed, I'm really enjoying this one on one time we're getting :)

Keep in growing Minnow!

Oh, Pioneer!

I've been spending my evening with my headphones on since the husband and friends have been on a non-stop Skyrim bender. It's a pretty sweet looking video game, but a video game no less. And I much rather be listening to music and looking through Oh, Pioneer! my new favourite blog.
Just take a look, and you'll see why. A collection of breathtaking images of nature, adventuring, and other random amazing things. It's making me want to get my adventuring pants on, and go run up a mountain. (Currently making Sunday plans to do just that!)

Here are some of my favourite images.
Enjoy!

Let's Play the Glad Game!

Things that make me glad;

-The midwife telling me it's difficult to feel my uterus under all my (rock hard) abs....oh yeah
-Freshly vacuumed rugs
-Christmas that starts the beginning of November (like at my house)
-Hearing my bebe's heartbeat. I could listen to that cute little sound forever
-Reading. All the time at every spare second.
-Gloves on a cold day. Everything is ok as long as my hands aren't cold.
-Hot chocolate in the morning instead of coffee
-Keira Knightly and Natalie Portman in ANYTHING
-The glorious thick and luscious hair that comes with being pregnant
-Sleeping enough
-Triple kitty snuggles
-A clean kitchen to wake up to
-Visits with Zeff and Ceder <3
-Planning my honeymoon! Way more fun than planning the wedding.
-A completed TO DO list
-Downward facing dog to plank to upwards facing dog. The most satisfying yoga flow
-When my kitty eats the bird seed the birdies throw out of their cage....little fatty nom nom nom
-Skyping with my sister Brittany in New Zealand
-And making lists of things that make me glad :)

Have a lovely long weekend remembering. And enjoying baffling over 11-11-11 tomorrow!!
